Trick or Treat!

Halloween week is upon us and I have the urge to play "Thriller" and "Monster Mash" on repeat. I love this time of year. Pumpkins, mulled cider, leaves crunching beneath my feet and sneaking candy corn from a hidden stash that no one knows about. I wish so badly that I had digital images of my sisters and I on Halloween. I will not hesitate when I say we had some of the very BEST costumes on the block. A picnic table, a ladybug, candy dots and Mouseketeers- we dressed up as everything in the costume books and then some! These were all thanks to my better than Martha Stewart mother and her crafty creative ways. Trick or Treating came second only to Christmas Eve and I have some of the best memories frolicking around our hometown filling our bags and listening to my Dad in a deep throated Vampire laugh and a laugh that sounded just like The Wicked Witch of the West. I'm pretty sure it even snowed a few Halloweens but that didn't stop us from doing our thing. Hoping that everyone is having a lovely fall weekend and has a fun week ahead!! And in the spirit of the season, I will leave you with this festive twist on my favorite print, courtesy of Miss Spice of My Life Muffin!
