Stop and Smell the Roses: Volume 12

Stop and Smell the Roses

It's been way too long since I have vlogged but alas, I'm so excited to catch up with everyone this week. Mark and I have been in a whirlwind this past month and we are so happy living in Charlotte again. There really is no place like home. Being close to our families and friends is something we are so thankful for. It still feels kind of surreal and almost like a really long vacation, but once we move into our house I'm sure things will change. My Pinterest boards are overflowing with ideas for our new home and I cannot wait until we have the keys.

I can't wait to see what everyone else has been up to. I hope you all are having a fantastic week! Don't forget to check House of Rose for the new Stop and Smell the Roses schedule.

P.S. Jen, do you like my MAGENTA dress!? I wore it just for you.

  2. Laying in the hotel bed...and I just made Jeff watch your vlog with me! I said, "THIS IS MY FRIEND NINA!! WATCH HER...SHE'S SO CUTE!" Hehe! He agreed that you were pretty cute {I elbowed him}. I am glad you are enjoying being back in Charlotte! I am sure it is so nice to be back by your family. I still haven't looked at our route for HHI, but I will...I promise! I really want to see you! And this cookie butter...I may need to find a Trader Joe's while I am in Chicago today. Is that your Jcrew dress?

  8. Yay for a new house near family. We're hoping to be buying a new house near our families when we finally sell this house.

That cookie butter sounds good, which is why I need to steer clear of it.

  9. Dying right now over your MAGENTA dress! Seriously. I laughed out loud when I read that and then I laughed again when you showed the cookie butter and said, "That's all I have to say about that. Just go get some." You make me smile :-) And just on a side note, could you look more GORGEOUS today?!! You are such a doll. I love that you are so happy to be back in Charlotte but I MISS YOU IN IL!! That is all :-)
